16 Mile OV delivers real time, multidirectional data to our customers and their trading partners throughout the order lifecycle — from receipt of the purchase order to delivery of the final invoice. Both buy-side and sell-side vendors can see the status of a purchase order at any point in time, acknowledging receipt, communicating problems, and analyzing data to meet the expectations of their customers

Predictable, Fixed-Fee Pricing Model
Unlike hosted EDI solutions, we do not charge for the exchange of data between our customers and their trading partners, for data stored in our system, or for purchase orders, invoices, shipping notices, and other documents that come into the system but haven’t been distributed **

Instead, we charge for the license to connect to each trading partner, along with a one-time set-up fee to establish the direct connection and map each trading partner’s required supply chain documents to the 16 Mile OV system

The 16 Mile OV cloud computing platform allows us to continually enhance performance and add capabilities based on the latest data translation, application, and reporting technologies. In addition, the efficiency and scalability of cloud computing minimize our customers’ investment in new hardware and software, while meeting several key supply chain requirements:

  • Accepts tight, loose, or manual data in a broad range of formats to accommodate any back office ERP system
  • Automates the process of managing electronic data interchange (EDI) compliance by both domestic and off-shore suppliers based on each customer’s unique EDI rules and policies
  • Allows customers to define permissions, views, data access, and data delivery based on pre-specified roles for each trading partner

Document Management and Built-in Reporting Tools
16 Mile OV’s performance reports are automatically populated in real time with incoming data to show the status of purchase orders at any point in time. The depth of 16 Mile OV’s visibility into supply chain processes, activities, and documents results in more informed decision-making and proactive problem-solving, while improving customer satisfaction and service levels. Specifically, our built-in tools support supply chains in the following ways:

  • Document Creation: For advance shipping notices (in seven different packing combinations), invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, UCC labels, and more, along with cross-reference tables for the corresponding SKUs of your suppliers
  • Order Tracking and Management: Order management, email/text message notification, response management, and EDI compliance
